During the 1994 earthquake in California, residents saw the night sky without artificial light pollution for the first time and were frightened. Apparently the Milky Way is scary. As such, I request one week where all light pollution is subdued. Let us, once again, see the night sky so as not to be frightened again. Also, schools would have a wonderful opportunity to encourage science knowledge.
