Limit the amount of patients a Certified Nursing Assistant can take care of to 8 patients in a hospital, nursing home, rehab center, or other LTAC facilities. CNA's overloaded with work, and get bullied by nurses and the facilities. There is currently no limit of patients a CNA is allowed to take care of in most states. Most CNAs in a hospital setting take care of 10- 18 patients in a ward. In a Nursing home they take care of 20 - 30 residents. Most patients do not receive proper treatment because of the limited staff the facilities provides. Patients end up getting neglected because of the facilities not providing adequate staff to the patients. To stop this from occurring, there needs to be a limit on how many patients a CNA can provide care for, to force the facilities to hire more help
