Limit all political office terms to 4 yrs on-4 yrs off, etc. or 10 total career years. Minimize monopoly politics.

Created by L.S. on November 13, 2012

Our founding Fathers did not intend for political offices to be life long positions held by a single person. Monopoly of any political office by an individual restricts the influx of new ideas and solutions. Life long politicians can lose touch with the needs of the People and lose perspective, becoming stagnant or even counter-effective. By limiting the total number of career years an individual holds any electoral office, the ability for the Commoner to attain office increases. The Commoner is better prepared to represent the Peoples' wants and needs. We respectfully request that all electoral government offices have a cap on the total career years any individual may hold office. We propose 4 yrs on - 4 yrs off - 4 yrs on or a total of 10 career years.
