Global warming is a growing issue that must be prevented in order to continue our lives on Earth. The main causes of global warming are the excessive amounts of carbon dioxide and greenhouse gasses that are in our atmosphere. These greenhouse gasses cause a global heating and interfere with weather patterns across the globe. While plants are able to cycle carbon dioxide out of our atmosphere, there has been a massive amount of deforestation that has occurred. This causes a large amount of carbon dioxide to stay in the atmosphere as opposed to being cycled. American companies can make an effort in fixing the problem. By limiting the amount of deforestation that occurs as a result of American companies, we can help prevent the growing epidemic of global warming.
