No current law exists to limit the hours an employee may be forced to work be they salary or hourly paid, except for commercial truck drivers. This creates a work environment of exhaustion and safety risk to employees and the general public. Employees are more likely to make mistakes after extended work hours as well as fall asleep while driving home causing a traffic accident. Please limit the amount of hours in a day or consecutive hours an employee can be required to work.
