The overuse, abuse and conflict of interest that is going on within congress can be corrected if the terms were limited to 3 terms. This would give the senators and congressmen an opportunity to create legislation and help their constituents but not enough time to become too cozy with lobbyist and other big business interest. After they have completed the maximum amount of terms, they would have to return to civilian life and find gainful employment.Using the position of congressman or senator as a career allows the individual to become complacent, out of touch and unattached to the public and what is happening in the community.
