Fracking in the United States has become a major issue, not only does it affect our health with the pumping of 500+ chemicals into the ground(which 95% of the time pollute our groundwater, a source of clean water for 44% of Americans), but also it degrades our environment. Fracking also is the cause of many earthquakes in areas in which they do not typically occur, due to the crevices fracking leaves behind.
