In response to the evil slaughter of so many innocent children, this petition asks that the Obama administration take the following actions:
1) Limit the number of guns in this country.
2) Regulate who guns are sold to with background checks.
3) Control how much ammunition is sold, again with background checks.
4) Eliminate easy access to guns.
This petition recognizes the 2nd amendment and our right to bear arms for personal protection or to hunt, but back when it was signed, there was no such as a drive-by shooting or machine guns that could kill dozens of people in less than a minute. This petition does not ask that the administration ban us from owning guns, only that you regulate and control them. If no one stands up to the big gun lobbyists in Washington, this will happen again.
