Any election campaigning (inclusive but not limited to rallies, flyers, advertisements via any medium, caucuses, public endorsements, debates and conventions) by any party (either currently in office or prospective) shall ONLY occur during the two months prior to an election.
One and half to two years before the next election distracts the American public and governmental position holders, and prevents the current political offices from acting on issues and doing their job.
A shorter election season will keep the focus on work for the current term and keep the American people interested in their government and to take more consideration in their election choices.
