Petition stops big business from denying health care to employees by eliminating as many full time positions as possible and creating a work force of part time employees with no health care benefits. A large work force in the country without health care will shift the costs of health care on to society. Exemptions could be in place for students and retirees, but those people in the working years of their lives must have health insurance or any health problem will destroy their ability to support their families. Even beyond the damage to the uninsured, the cost of medical treatment for the uninsured will be passed on to all tax payers.
