Limit cell phone use in public school classrooms unless for emergencies. We don't grade how fast you can text.

Created by B.B. on November 14, 2012

We find ourselves lowering our standards for education with lack of funding and under paid teachers. A unique complex issue is arising in most schools that most are over looking. It is an item that captures a students attention, allows endless amusement and can create havoc if abused. These devices are being allowed in classrooms and disturbingly used during class. With test scores standards hitting an all time low how can we allow these devices in our classrooms. No student should be allowed to activate a cell phone during class unless for emergencies. How can a student learn if texting. The student is not graded on how fast he/she can text.
