Statistically higher rates of child abuse occur in large families. Persons who are single or waiting to meet a partner should not be coerced into paying additional taxes that benefit married couples. They should not be paying the burden of the child tax credit. They may decide to save money for their own future child. Or they may need to save their money for fertility treatment if needed. They do not need to support people reproducing uncontrollably + pay for their health insurance expenses or their child tax credit + free education for someone else's 'family'. Americans need to be more responsible in paying their own bills. Being single can be stressful and alienating. The government should also revamp the IRS tax code to only offer a filing married tax return after age 30, not 18 or 16
