Class size should be limited to 30 students in all public schools. This is critical because students require and deserve one-on-one attention. With classes any larger than this, teachers don't have the time to ensure that the needs of all of their students are met. Also, smaller classes permit more personal interaction between students and teachers, engaging students in their own education and motivating them to do their best in school. Smaller class sizes are especially important in foreign language and discussion classes, because the opportunity to speak is vital in each.
