The office of the U.S. Congress, which is made up of lawmakers the voters elect to the House of Representatives and the Senate, have been afforded the opportunity to serve unlimited terms in office.
Together these two branches of government form a two house Congress that in many ways have more important powers than the President and the Supreme Court.
As a Congress, their most important power is the authority to make laws. Yet, in recent years, Congress has used their excessive power by blatantly refusing to take up votes or act on matters regarding the American people.
Let's stop the gridlock in Washington, DC and balance the power. It's time for the American people to restrict Congress to term limits. Tell Congress: No more holding the American people hostage!
