limit Congressional pay to be equivalent to the districts in which they work based on the median incomes of their folks

We, the people of the United States, in order to influence change and direct the path of our Senators and Congressmen realize that they will not ever feel our plight if they don't understand what we go through; therefore, they are being sent to Washington to represent our needs, our interests, they should also be paid at the median household incomes for our districts to understand how we live, sacrifice, and make ends meet. If we can do it, they can do it. Maybe then, and only then, will they fully get the mission they are on, listen to our needs, and influence change in our lives versus the benefits they gain from being a politician. Lobbyists can only influence those who are corruptible, corruption comes from power, and the power has to go back to the people of these United States.
