Limit Congressional retirement benefits.

Created by S.R. on March 11, 2013

As a member of the armed forces, I must serve for 20 years to be eligible for retirement benefits. I recommend that all members of congress and the senate not be eligible for their lifetime salaries after only completing one term. A congressman who only completes one, two year term, receives full pay for life. This is completely unfair to all other federal employees and would free up millions in funding every year. Limit their eligibility to having to complete at least 20 years in office and and make it align with military retirement pensions where it's only a percentage rather than 100 percent.
