Much of the pain we are feeling from existing members of congress is due to the "old boy network" we have allowed manifest over the decades. These Congress "Men and Women" fall too far out of touch with the people they were voted in to represent. By limiting both their consecutive and total terms, we reduce their ability to entrench themselves in the system where they slow down the legislative process by bending to the will of corporations and lobbyists.
