Limit criminal record search for employment to last 10 years except for schools and day care centers.

In order for people to be truly given a second chance they need to be afforded a true opportunity at a second chance. In order to do so criminal record searches must be limited to a 10 year history for employers, government and private. The only exception to this should be schools and day care centers. No matter what the person's crime may have been in the past their repayment to society and 10 years time period should be enough of a burden for them to bear. At the end of the day people who have criminal records can also have families. By branding these people as life long felons and criminals not only are they bearing the cost of their mistakes but so are their family members and that in itself can create a self destructive cycle upon innocent younger generations.
