Homework can lead to a lot of stress for the average high school student.
In school students spend at least 5 hours a day paying attention to lectures, notes, etc. about information that may not be useful for our intended career path. For example; When will an engineer need to know the causes of The Civil War?
Probably never unless there was an unlikley circumstance.
After being taught information for hours, students are piled with at least an hour or two of homework. Many students participate in sports after school activities that take up at least another couple hours of work. After hours of being in sports, students are tired and still have to complete a lot of work. Busy schedules like this makes it tough for students to sleep for enough time. Being tired effects preformance in school
