limit how much presidential candidates can spend on election campaigning.

Created by T.H. on April 13, 2015

It's estimated that the 2016 U.S Presidenial election campaign season could top $5 billion. Think of all the positive things that money could do - improve literacy rates, rebuild crumbling infrastructure, help feed food-insecure families, etc. Sadly, this money will be squandered on political attack ads and other useless campaigning.

Let's put a modest cap on campaign spending to A.) keep the politicial playing field level, B.) loosen corporate/special interest influence on U.S politics, C.) produce politicians that run and win by their own merit alone, and D.) reduce wasteful spending.
