Senators and Representatives make an income that does not reflect the people they serve and is not affected by the how well they represent their people. Also they continue to make the same amount while the national debt continues to increase. To help this problem, every senator's and house representative's salary will be a maximum of 200% of the average income of their constituents. At the beginning of each year the state income will be assessed and adjustments to the salary will be made by increase or decrease. This will force senators and representatives to push to improve the economy of their state while helping to eliminating the national debt.
