Limit the income of the members of the legislative branch to the median income of the state to which they represent

Created by C.B. on April 04, 2014

Limit the income of the members of the legislative branch to the median income of the state to which they represent. Do so to bring representatives closer to their constituents. By limiting incomes to the median of the state represented, representatives would have a greater incentive to improve the overall well being of their state. Every citizen earns pay raises by their employers based on merit. As the legislative branch is employed by the people, the people shall determine the income.
