We the People, the President and the Congress claim that they represent the people. Ninety nine percent of the people do not know what it feels like to earn one hundred and seventy five thousand dollars a year. How then could the very people who earn that amount claim to represent the ninety nine percent. The argument is as old as this country, indeed as old as man, our equality our liberty is once again at stake if we the people allow those who claim to represent us to claim that they are worth as much as seven times the worth of one that they claim to represent. To bind the President and congress to earn the wages of the people would create an understanding of the difficulties faced by the vast majority of the people in this country. What this argument is calling for is representation.
