Limit laws that are created to one topic.

Created by M.H. on January 16, 2013

Pork is out of control in our government. Little is being done because of bipartisan bickering and back office deal making. Legislation creeps through attached to higher profile bills that would not stand a chance on their own. Our elected officials are more concerned about votes and what is best for them than what is best for our country. If we had a one topic system, pork would be greatly reduced and our representatives could streamline the process of debate as there would be no hidden agendas. Greater transparency, and simpler bills would bring the important issues forward and the pet projects would never come for a vote. Congress has been elected to the job of governing our country, not bribing their constituents with overpriced projects that drive us deeper into debt.
