Many years ago, a limit was placed on presidential terms. We feel that there should be a limit to the amount of terms all elected officials may serve in each position.
The desire to become a public servant is a noble one. To bring your ideas and innovation to help progress our laws and legislation in a changing world is your greatest gift to your country. But, after a time, if your ideas fail to take on or be accepted, and you fail to come up with new ideas as younger, more "in touch" politicians come into public light, we feel it is important to step aside and make room for the younger generation.
In this respect, we ask that the rules be changed for every level of elected official that the maximum time they may serve the public in any given position may not exceed 10 years.
