Private online mugshot websites use public arrest records to extort people by charging fees to remove mugshots from being posted online. Once a person pays the fee it is possibly removed but posted on other private mugshot websites. This is unfair and should be illegal. I understand that violent crimes and other major crimes can be posted but traffic violations or missing traffic court arrests should not be posted anywhere else. Please help make these websites accountable and to remove non- violent arrest records from their websites.
