Traffic in San Diego during peak times is horrible, such as 7am to 9am, or 4:30pm to 18:30pm. Cars move slowly in the lines, or even do not move at all for a long time. It is wasting people’s precious time. We should find a solution to solve this problem, for example, limiting the number of cars during peak times. Therefore, I came up with an idea about limiting the cars based on the last digital of cars’ number plates. For instance, on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, the only cars can drive on the main highways, such as interstate 5, 8, 15, 805, their last digitals are even number. On the country, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, cars with their last digitals are odd can drive on the main highways. Also, the government can change the day by sending messages to citizens.
