Limit the number of times a representative in congress can run for re-election,

Created by B.R. on January 23, 2015

Limiting the number of times a member of Congress can run for re-election is just as important as limiting the number of times a president can run, too many representatives focus more on re-election than actually working and fulfilling their duties in a responsible manner. Limiting the terms a congressmen/women can run to 4 would allow them to hold the seat for a maximum of 18 years ensuring that their seat cannot be monopolized. Some members of congress have been serving for 40+ years. This slows the rate at which we move forward and adapt to the everchanging world, with the world changing faster and faster we can no longer afford an inactive Congress, that is to stubborn to work with each other out of fear of not being re-elected
