Limit organ transplants to recipients who are designated organ donors themselves.

Created by M.M. on December 11, 2013

Sadly it is no secret that our nation is in dire need of organs to save lives. Many tens of thousands of people die every year, waiting for an organ that never comes. At the present, only about 30% of us have signed up to donate our organs to pass the gift of life on to somebody else in the event we lose ours.

I ask that we create a law which simply states this. If you are not willing to donate your own organs and are not signed up to do so, before you get sick; then you are not allowed to receive an organ.

It is not fair that a long term organ donor designee should lose out to somebody who was not willing to save anothers life. If you want your organs to go to waste that is your choice, however I am outraged when these very people take an organ. We don't need a society like that.
