When I was in history I learned how when the system was first made it was to be an honor to be elected a senator or state representative. We need to go back to the old model. We need people who are actually going to put effort into make life better for the working poor and middle class, not just make more tax breaks and money for the rich.
Senators: One term and done.
Representatives: Two terms and done.
President: Stays the same as everyone should be working together.
All these people should have travel exspenses, housing and food paid while out of their home state. Their pay should be that of the average middle class house income, so they know what life is like for the majority of the people they actually represent. Let's see then how we are repesented.
