A recent trip to the grocery store enlightened me like never before a woman in front of me and another woman were arguing over why this woman was using tax payers money to purchase junk food for her kids who both were severely obese. The welfare mom's comment floored me " they can call me dumb all they want but I didn't need a Harvard degree to know how to play the system. I don't have to deny my kids something like you do. Where is the responsibility of this woman to take care of her kids and provide them with healthy meals. Woman she spent over $200 on junk candy, soda and chips no fruit and vegetables at all. My grocery budget for the entire month is only $200. Why isn't the food stamp program dealing with this. Bet cards are used at casinos and Vegas stop the abuse.
