when a person is thought by his or her neighbors,co-workers,or people in their genral surrounds to be unfit to own a firearm a petition to remove their right in the interest of public safety can be started and apon reaching 100(?) siginatures the local courts will take it under concideration wether or not the person has demonstraited a danger to themselves or others and should be releived of their right to own a firearm.
