Home Owners Associations across the country are passing regulations that violate the rights of lower income and working homeowners in their communities. I propose that there be limitations set upon their power. I propose that HOAs be required by law to hold their meetings at times when working class homeowners are able to attend, not at odd hours in the middle of the work day, and that all proposed HOA regulations be put to a vote that includes all members of a community, not just those on the board, and that such votes be held during times that home owners who are not retirees can attend and have their voices heard.
