Our current Congress has been inaffective and useless in terms of helping the people. Those looking to be re-elected only care about pleasing the people with the deepest pockets, not the people that brought them to the position in the first place.
By limiting the amount of time that Presidential and Congressional candidates have to campaign, those already in office are forced to finally focus on working for the people they supposedly serve.
This could be the first step of many for campaign reform that will finally allow the people to have elected officials who care about helping us, instead of themselves.
