This petition seeks to reduce or eliminate burdensome flight delays, freeway shutdowns, and road closures as a result of the President (and associated personnel) arrival to any major airport in the U.S. When arriving at most U.S. airports, the President and associated personnel use an area of the airfield located far away from the main passenger terminal. This remote area of the airfield is just as easy to staff at night as it is during the day. Commercial fight schedules and freeway traffic in the surrounding area is significantly less at night offering a speedy night time entrance and exit for the President and the added benefit of no daytime flight or traffic delays for the traveling and commuting public.
