Limit the price of common brands of bottled water to $2.00 per 20 ounce bottle inside secure areas of U.S. Airports.

Security regulations prohibit flyers from taking more than 3 ounces of a liquid through security checkpoints.This prohibits bottled beverages such as soft drinks and water.
Many airport concession operators have used this as a means to fleece the traveling public by charging excessive prices for beverages, especially water. Recently I was in an airport where the cheapest bottle of a leading brand, non-specialty 16 ounce bottle of water was $3.29 + tax. A 20 ounce bottle of the same brand retails for $1.00-$1.50 in grocery and convenience stores and vending machines.
Water is a basic necessity of life and it's recommend people be well hydrated when flying. Excessive markup should be prohibited. A 20 ounce bottle of non-specialty water should cost no more than $2.00/bottle inside security.
