With the country being as fast-paced as it is today, there is no room for stagnation. The current ability for senators to be in office for more than two decades is absurd. This petition calls for the limiting of a senator's terms in order to allow more candidates to be considered for representation and to prevent one person from holding too much power in a representative position. Much like the restrictions on presidential terms, the senatorial terms should be limited as well.
