Life-long politicians do not properly represent the people. The instead selfishly represent themselves.
Senators and representatives of the House exist too long in office. This breeds stale thinking. It tightens relationships with lobbyists and promotes self-interest over our people. Infinite term limits are partially responsible for extraneous and selfish additions to our bills. Furthermore, our government is unable to accomplish effective, long-term deficit reform due to the lack of ideas. We need fresh, new minds frequently moving through our House and Senate.
