LIMIT tax exemptions of religious organizations only to the charitable work done without promoting their religious views

Religious institutions have long avoided paying taxes because they are ostensibly charitable - but they are actually advertising and promoting their own religion. I don't think I should continue to carry a tax burden for a religious institution that I would not otherwise promote or give funds to uphold. Many own property and take in large sums of money which they use to promote their own religious point of view. They have every right to do so - I just don't think it is appropriate to expect me as a taxpayer to make up for their lack of taxes to keep up the roads and police and other city services which they benefit from. Let religious institutions pay taxes like any other business except for true charitable work, which means helping people without preaching their religion=marketing.
