limit taxpayer funding of government travel to business-related expenses.

Created by V.S. on February 15, 2013

Members of the federal government should not be taking a private jet home every weekend at taxpayer expense. We do not provide this service to members of the armed services, and we should not to our elected officials.

Limit the travel perks of a senator or the secretary of defense to the exact same deal we give a private in the US Army. These men are well paid, and often independently wealthy beyond that. If they wish to fly home every weekend to be with their family, it should be at their expense, not ours.
