Limit the term of Supreme Court Justices.

Created by J.C. on October 10, 2011

By limiting the terms of Supreme Court Justices, you take away their indefinite staying power. With an understanding of the Checks and Balances system, you realize the Judiciary branch is the only branch that has free reign without consequence. This unlimited term allows them to disconnect from the law and the people. Their views become clouded with routine. I propose that the government limits any Supreme Court Justices' term to 16 years, there by reestablishing a true Checks and Balances system. Two full presidential terms allows Justices to still maintain the law without overstaying their welcome.
