limit a term of those in the Senate and Congress to two, four year terms. No life time continuing benefits of any kind.

To be a congressman or senator is to be in service. These positions should be treated like the Presidency with limited terms and once the 8 years is complete, they do not receive a life time compensation package. This will weed out those whose only purpose for running is as a Professional politician.This will also keep at bay those who hold superiority over others. It will insure that we the people will get what we are paying for: a servant who represents the voter and not a special interest who has bought their allegiance through lobbying or Super pack money.
The position will be like any other Government job. It could be paid at a GS 13, 14, or 15 level with steps based on experience. Their benefits package would be that of all Federal employees with same healthcare plan and benefits.
