Congress was never intended to be a career and there for terms should be limited to 2 terms of 2 years each similar to how the presidents term is limited.
Each member of Congress should also cease to collect a government paycheck after their terms are over.
This will force members of congress to consider the working individual when passing or not passing any and all laws. As they will soon be joining the work force.
Congress shall also lose the ability to vote their own raises and be put on a standardized cost of living increase only.
