Limit the Terms and Length of Service for Members of Congress

Created by T.T. on November 12, 2012

Currently there are no term limits for members of Congress. Members of the House of Representatives serve two (2) year terms and Senators serve six (6) year terms.

We, the CItizens of the United States, request that term limits for Members of Congress be enacted, enabling the same Members to serve only two (2) terms total, and that the length of service for Senators be reduced from six (6) years to four (4) years.

Serving in Congress is a privilege, and at the will of the people. Unfortunately, due to PAC and Party contributions, it can be extremely difficult for the CItizens of this United States of America to remove career Congressmen/woman from office.
