We the people ask the federal government to Change an existing Administration policy:

Limit terms of Congress to be in office and it should be on the ballot, not for Congress to vote for.

Created by M.B. on August 12, 2016

James Madison said it best, "The security intended to the general liberty consists in the frequent election and in the rotation of the members of Congress." To continue the term of the same Congressional member limits new ideas for American and increases the chance for corruption. Furthermore, Congress should not be allowed to vote on this policy, but the American people should be the ones voting for a policy pertaining to Congress. It seems unconstitutional to give them the power to control their future and not the people who actually should be controlling.
