An entrenched group of 535 politicians, DEMOCRAT AND REPUBLICAN have driven this country into a ditch. Some of them have been roosting on Capital Hill for 40 years or more.
Terms should be limited to 6 years. 3 terms for Congress and 1 term for Senate. Presidents, no matter the party get elected to the first term on thier own dime or that of thier contributors. Once elected they spend less than a year on the peoples business and the rest of the first term campaigning with thinly disguised policy speeches. Imagine what presidents could accomplish if they never had to worry about reelection. If they do a good job, they should have no problem winning another nomination 4 years later WITHOUT A.F. 1 and at THIER OWN expense. Allow the President UNLIMITED terms but NONE CONSECUTIVELY.
