We the people ask the federal government to Take or explain a position on an issue or policy:

Limit terms for senators and congresspeople to two (2) terms.

Created by R.E. on November 02, 2016

Our elected officials in Washington, DC have turned their public office into full-time jobs. Unlike the president and vice president, who are limited to two (2) four-year terms, senators and representatives can (and usually do) serve an unlimited number of terms in office. Thus, they have turned something that should be only temporary into a permanent career.
