I would like to see a law prohibiting vehicles under a specific power to weight ratio from driving in the far left lane on interstates and highways that are 3 lanes wide or greater. That law should also prohibit any hybrid type vehicles from using that lane also. The power to weight ratio will be determined at a later date but generally greater than most SUVs, sedans, and mini-vans. An appeal process would be established using a dynamometer to account for "after market" performance parts and upgrades.
