Limit what Home Owners Associations can do.

Created by J.Y. on May 15, 2013

We are forced into signing up with an HOA, like it or not, just because we like a particular house in a certain neighborhood. We are forced to comply with harassment, RIDICULOUS rules, and be forced to live how we are told to live.
Cities enforce rules well enough to help a neighborhood out with their property values. They issue reasonable fines, that actually go back to the public.

An HOA is allowed to tell you that you cannot hang a certain flag (against the constitution), tell you that your trash can is ugly, and charge you for it. AND make you pay legal fees, place leans on your home, and not even give you a booklet about what the rules really are.

This is a petition to give home owners a choice, when they buy a house, to opt out of an HOA if they choose to.
