When is the US going to build a liquid fluoride thorium reactor? This seems to be the future of power for cheap, safe electric power for all of the people of the world. China is using all the US has developed and wants to have a working LFTR by 2020. For some reason we stopped research in 1974 so GE could continue to have a monopoly on supplying fuel rods for the current nuclear power plants. So when are we going to build our first LFTR?
Thanks John
